sweet alpine treasures

Honey is our passion and we are happy to share it with you! This careful selection of finest Swiss Alpine Honey is the result of a yearlong search. We have traveled the mountains up and down and tasted hundreds of honeys from all alpine regions in Switzerland to come up with only the most fascinating and unique ones for this specialized shop. It is a family business built on quality and dedication -  small, controled, honest and humble - like the bees and the beekeepers we partner with.

Since we know all of our partners personally, the way they work and the places where their bee hives stand in untouched mountain wilderness, we can guarantee for the best quality and for the deepest respect towards nature. These are very limited, handcrafted heart & soul honeys - enjoy!

PS: In 2017 there is much less honey available compared to the previous years. This is due to the cold weather that hit Switzerland in April and destroyed many blossoms. However, due to the strong ties with our beekeepers we can offer you a very rich range of honeys also in this difficult period. And there will be even some very interesting new honeys, too. We'll add them to our webshop as soon as they are harvested. If you want to be informed about new arrivals, please send us an email and we'll keep you up-to-date.

signatures: Gion Grischott

GION GRISCHOTT  from the small village Pignia in the Rhaetian Alps is a humble man, despite being the only alpine beekeeper who ever received the Swiss BioGourmet award and the fact that his honey is coveted by top chefs like Andreas Caminada.

When Gion is asked how he produces such a wonderful and unique honey, he always says he's not accountable, it’s just his bees and the pure nature... Nethertheless we are sure there is something very special about this honey. We selected the three gourmet varieties of Pignia, Andeer and Alp Niemet in the Grisons mountains for you to discover and enjoy!

All of Gions honeys are produced according to strict Swiss organic and demeter regulations.
