We have traveled the mountains up and down and tasted hundreds of honeys from all alpine regions in Switzerland to come up with only the most fascinating and unique ones for this specialized shop. The bee colonies of Matteo
Dell’Andrino are located in the Southern Alps where the chestnut tree line meets the richness of alpine blossoms. This specific mixture of vegetation is a feast for the bees and honey lovers
alike. Canton Ticino.

- Beekeeper Alfred Bontognali works hard at high altitude for this unique honey. His rare black
bees, a local breed known for their robustness, collect alpine flower nectar around 2000 meters in height. Engadina, Canton Grisons.

Martin Dettli is an experienced and highly respected bee expert across Switzerland. As a travelling beekeeper he finds the

lps is a humble man, despite being the only alpine beekeeper who ever received the Swiss BioGourmet award and the fact
that his honey is coveted by top chefs like Andreas Caminada.
When Gion is asked how he produces such a wonderful and unique honey, he always says he's not accountable, it’s just his bees and the pure nature... Nethertheless we are sure there is something very special about this honey. We selected the three gourmet varieties of Pignia, Andeer and Alp Niemet in the Grisons mountains for you to discover and enjoy!
All of Gions honeys are produced according to strict Swiss organic and demeter regulations. As experience shows, these rare specialties are
very much sought after and sold out quickly. If you wish to assure one or more glasses of the coming 2017 harvest, please send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to make a
reservation. You will be informed immediately upon arrival of the honey (June - Pignia, July - Andeer, August - Alp Niemet).
- This honey is harvested in June when the bees bring home the dandelion nectar from the mountain meadows close to Gions home village. It is a strong, powerful honey, unique in appearance and taste, with the bright yellow color of dandelions and a refreshing taste. Canton: Grisons. Organic. Demeter.
Gion takes his bees to the meadows of Andeer to produce this typical and at the same
time nontypical alpine blossom honey. Typical are the flowers in the meadows and the nectar that the bees collect. Nontypical is what Gion makes out of this base. Just try and compare.

The variety has been tested and confirmed as a rare true alpine rose honey with an outstanding, almost white color and its pure, sweet

- David Conradin inherited the love for bees from his father who started with this passion in the 1950s.
